It has been reported Stephen Keshi, head coach of the Super Eagles, and his two assistants have not received a salary since February.
The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have not paid Keshi, Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmu since Nigeria won the Africa Cup of Nations in February. The backlog of salaries is estimated to be at N49 million.
Reports believe that the NFF are broke after spending much of their allocated budget but the coach and his assistants are said to be paid by sponsorships and FIFA grants.
