This is an extension of Chief Olusegn Obasanjo’s self glorification and holier-than-thou attitude. The big question is whether he is qualified to talk about sustainable development.
A man who could not ensure good succession, whose successors have continued to wobble and fumble and who failed to ensure durable governance in a country he led for eight years.
The nation has continued to drift after him. Obasanjo is unfit to criticise Bola Tinubu because they were both in government for eight years and at the same time at different levels.
While Tinubu was able to give the people of his state a performing governor, Obasanjo in his usual forceful manner imposed on his party, PDP, a sick person, who needed adequate rest after ruling his state as governor, as President of the republic. The rest is history.
What manner of sustainable development is he now preaching?
