 Lionel Messi

Former Barcelona defender Gabriel Milito believes that Barcelona star Lionel Messi is the best player in the history of football even if he has never won the World Cup with his country.

The Argentine international, who recently talked about his dreams of winning the world cup, has often been criticised for his relatively very great performances with the national team, but Milito feels the Barcelona star doesn't need international victory to be classified as the best ever.

Oritsejafor Has Disgraced The Legendary CAN And Turned It Into A Political Watch Dog - El - Rufai

 Mallam Nasir el-Rufai

Former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) , Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, has berated the current president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor over his “utterances and behaviour which he says amounts to repudiation of the moral authority, fair-mindedness and high standing his predecessors invested in that office.”

el-Rufai said the casual observer would likely mistake Oritsejafor for a minor protocol official of government as he had pathetically cheapened the erstwhile integrity of the CAN presidency.

The former FCT minister commended the past chairmen of CAN and lamented that Oritsejafor did not follow in their footsteps.

Stolen Nigerian oil worth billions of dollars is sold overseas every year with much of the proceeds laundered in world financial centers, the likes of Britain and the United States, a report by London-based Chatham House said on Thursday.

The report said an estimated 100,000 barrels per day (bpd) of oil was stolen from pipelines in the Niger Delta in the first quarter of this year, excluding the unknown quantities stolen from export terminals.

Reuters reports that the theft amounts to around 5 percent of Nigeria’s current 2 million bpd production but has a wider impact because oil companies are often forced to shut down pipelines due to thievery.
